Dometic was officially established in 2001 when the leisure division of Electrolux was spun off. Dometic is a global company and brand that has developed based on absorption refrigeration technology and has provided a variety of branded products and solutions through its own R&D and mergers and acquisitions of several famous brands. Dometic's brands include sub-brands Dometic Outdoor, Dometic Home, and Dometic Professional for each business area, and other product brands include MobiCool, Campa, and Weco.
